The Making of the Monsters
It all starts with a sketch. When he’s finished with the pencil, he outlines it with ink, scans the sketch, and only then does he layer color on top, followed by fills and shadows. This analog approach and the imperfections that come with it make his Monsters who they are. Every creature created is unique—their facial expressions, personalities, and attitudes make them universally relatable.
